Physical Anthropology

BSC Class Notes » Anthropology

Physical Anthropology is the field of study concerned with the morphology and genetics of early homo sapiens.

The evolution and adaptations of humans over the past half dozen million years is of study interest.

By studying physical anthropology it can be better understood how the human species is interconnected with earth's ecosphere.

Studies of evolution are key in explaining the present functioning of humans, as well as in providing scenarios for future human responses to a rapid changing environment.
